1.) I purchased this though a vendor called Calm Spas. Do not use them. They are not knowledgeable, have a really hard return policy and are nice until you receive your product and do not like this.
2.) This Model is a cancer box. They are selling a primarily NEAR-INFRARED sauna with 2 small far infrared panels. Do not be fooled if you are not an expert on this. The yellow heaters burn you as you touch them even with back seats. Its like touching a space heater. The bench is small and the best part is that you dont even get the far infrared benefits unless you lay flat on the bench- but then you dont get to leverage the far infrared floor panel which is basically useless.
3.) Near infrared is linked to cancer and Calm Spas and Golden Design does not have relevant safety data to show this isnt cancerous.
4.) Full Spectrum doesnt penetrate the skin deep. As someone who made the mistake and only did a little research on infrared- I didnt realize all of this until I saw this in person at my house and realized I bought a space heater box and I wondered why it looked this way and not like the other models which I now know are "all far infrared" When I did more digging I found out (not by Calm Spas) that this sauna box can be hazardous and you will not get the full benefits.
5.) When explaining this to Calm Spas- not only did they NOT correct my beliefs (because they know I am right) They just said- its your accountability, you made the purchase. Yes, I do take accountability for purchasing this, but when I shared how unhappy I am and this is not what I expected I was left out of $5K and they dont care. They got their money. And Golden Design needs to remove this model, and Calm Spas and Golden Designs if they were a credible company shouldnt be carrying this at all. And if they actually cared, they would figure out a way to exchange it but they choose not do to that. They still havent said anything to me "why this could actually be a good purchase" They are a marketing scam who do not have real knowledge of infrared saunas selling scam products to unfortunately a novice infrared sauna buyer like myself. And Golden Designs- this is a high overpriced item that isnt providing full benefits of a real infrared sauna. You disguise it by putting in a small salt bar and upsell the price when all this is in LITERALLY a space heater box. And this company wants nothing to do with your complaints either. They also said, well too bad. They got their sell too. Do not buy from Golden Design and their scam model.
